Description of 1984 Buick Grand National |
1984 Buick Grand National **REAL GRAND NATIONAL - REAL T-TOP - NOT A CLONE** -ONLY 35,000 ORIGINAL MILES -3.8 LITER TURBO (ORIGINAL ENGINE) -Vehicle comes with original window sticker, bill of sale, owners manual, clean title, and a binder full of vehicle history/documents. -I have another full set of original 1984 Lear Siegler seats that come with vehicle -I also have an entire spare parts engine from a 1985 grand national with numerous parts, accessories, harnesses, A/C parts, original turbo, hoses, fittings, injectors, etc. -In addition, I have about 5-6 large bins full of Grand National parts I have collected over the years. Too many parts to list. Essentially I have just about everything the car would need for full restoration or replacement of any parts in the future. I don't want to take the time or effort to sell parts indivudually so the buyer can have anything and everything I have accumulated for Grand Nationals. 1984 was the first year for the "True" Grand Nationals. (all black, traditional grand nationals) In 1984 approximately 2,000 GN's were produced, and from my research less than 400 of them were T-Tops. In the 2-3 years I have owned the car I have not been able to find any 84 T-tops with less mileage and as much documentation as I have. The car is not perfect, but it is extremely rare. If I had space to store it for 15-20 years I would keep it, as I am certain the value of this car will only grow over the years. As far as the condition of the car, it is certainly not perfect. The T-Tops leak, the door panels are worn, the paint is a 6/10 at best. The car does start, run, stop, steer, lights work, tires hold air. It is fine to drive around a parking lot or for a few miles to the store, but I wouldn't go much farther than that with it. It does need some work, but the body is straight and everything is there. I have an OEM reproduction passenger side floor pan that comes with the car as well. I'm sure I am leaving a lot of information out of the ad, but if you are seriously interested please feel free to call me. Long story short, the car needs work but it is still a genuine 1984 Grand National Low Mile T-Top. |
