I am not a dealer, but simply someone who has a passion for everything automotive. My private, wholly-owned collection has been assembled through many years of patience, hard work, and dedication to the hobby. Every now and then, I decide to let one go to make room for another. This time, it's one of the Roadmasters. A brief history... The Buick Roadmaster has an extra special place in the history of distinctly American motoring with the name first used in the 1936. These extravagant cars, built from the mid-1930's to 1958, are the proud ancestors of the final generation of Roadmaster vehicles (1991-1996). The reintroduction of the Roadmaster name after a more than 30-year absence marked a daring, but short-lived, return to grandeur for Buick. 1991 featured only a Roadmaster station wagon with the sedan making it's deservedly separate debut in for 1992. Production numbers of these "premium American motorcars" as they were billed in the sales brochures of the day, paled in comparison to those of the all-too-common Mercury Grand Marquis . From 1992-1997, roughly 700,000 Mercury Grand Marquis rolled off the assembly line as compared to a lean 225,000 Roadmasters from 1991-1996 (sedan and wagons combined!). Only about 40,000 Roadmasters were produced in 1993, about one-half of the previous year's numbers due to ever-declining demand early on in this car's brief production run. Tens of thousands of these extremely desirable cars have succumbed to the perils of life outside the garage, neglect, abuse, and of course, many were destroyed during the "Cash for Clunkers" campaign. Anyone who has driven a Roadmaster knows they're anything but "clunkers." This leaves a select few of them that are still in existence in truly excellent, all original condition. You have the opportunity to own one today. This beautifully kept, all original 1993 Buick Roadmaster is ready to please the most discriminating Buick collector. It runs and drives just as great as it looks! It is EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. No matter if you're around the corner or on the opposite side of the world, you can be confident about purchasing this magnificent car sight unseen. Of course, we welcome anyone who would like to see, test drive, and inspect the vehicle while it is available for sale. As long as the buyer is willing to pay for shipping, we can have it transported to most destinations worldwide! Some valuable information about this car:
