Here's a very nice '62 Buick Special Convertible from an aging Southern California collectors Estate. Has 83k miles and the old original California Black and gold license plates and still currently registered. always owned and garaged in California...very solid underneath..not rusty....New Base coat/clearcoat 2 stage paint and the original color which is arctic white. This is a super rare car in that it has the factory 4-speed transmission and the higher horsepower Aluminum V-8 with the 4 BBL carburetor. The engine bay is nicely detailed and correct. It has a new black top along with new upholstery as pictured. The transmission has been rebuilt recently with receipts provided(about $1000). She has new Magnaflow exhaust with new dual tips in back of each wheel well. She sports the American Racing Slotted Mag wheels..these were big in the '70's if you remember. I bought a Ford van in 1975 with tinted windows..deluxe "Chateau" package..the first thing I did was to install these slotted mags..totally period look. Please note that the original Wheels AND Original Factory hubcaps are included with the car..see photos. Also the shifter has been upgraded to a Hurst Pro Comp which looks great but..the original Factory "spaghetti' shifter is included as well. Check out the Lucky Me "Navajoland" vintage window sticker in the right rear quarter window! She has a new black top and column mounted tachometer. The dash has no cracks, seats and door panels are excellent and the bumpers are new chrome. There is some very modest pitting on the original door handles and the tail light bezels, which could easily be replaced or rechromed if new buyer deemed necessary at reasonable costs. The grille is excellent. This is a great car and not to be seen in abundance at car shows..very rare the way it is factory equipped. Thanks for bidding..feel confident as I am 100% since 1999. read feedback as seller. Please call Jay with any questions 360-852-0589 I will gladly assist any overseas buyer as well..good luck
