Rare 61 Invicta bubbletop ( only 6300 produced ) for sale. Purchased the car out of Denver, Colorado in 9/15 as an 87,000 mile 99% rust free driver and began transforming it into the great cruiser it is today. It retains its original drive train ( 401 nailhead, dynaflow tranny and posi rear ). Engine has 1500 miles since rebuild and tranny and posi rear in great working condition. Engine ran fine but did rebuild while we had it out of car prior to paint. Dynaflow was supposed rebuilt by prior owner and has no issues. Posi rear is believed to be 3.23 ratio and has been serviced. Power steering pump, power booster and water pump all rebuilt during restoration process. On frame restoration done due to clean condition of underside of car. Body was stripped to bare metal, primed, blocked and painted viper white/ dyna blue pearl with 5 coats of clear then wet sanded and buffed. All trim and bright work original except for rear bumper which was replaced but have original as well. Interior original except for partial color change on door panels to match re-cover of original seats in period correct fabric/vinyl with what I felt was a nicer pattern. ( carpet was replaced over perfect rust free floors that were insulated with dynamat). All glass tinted and believed to be original. Car retains it original big fin drum brakes that stop the car well. Suspension lowered using Jamco 2" rear and 3" front lowering springs and shocks to give the Buick its great stance. It rolls on US Mag 18/20" wheel combo with General Altimax tires. Crowd pleaser everywhere it goes and always only '61 Buick bubbletop. Many awards including " Bitchin Buick " at Goodguys.
