1936 Buick Century Sport CoupeGeneral Motors produced only1001 of the Century Sport Coupes with dual sidemounts and a rumble seat. The Series Sixty Coupe is indeed a rare car today. This is body #891. Only FOUR of these Harley Earl designed coupes have been known to exist today. The Sport coupe has exceptional long flowing lines and is pleasing from every angle. It rides on a 122 inch wheelbase and is powered by the original Buick Valve-in-head Straight Eight Engine. It develops 120 hp with a displacement of 320 cubic inches. A three speed transmission with a single plate 11 inch dry clutch and silent helical gear Syncro-mesh setup performs like new. The four-wheel brakes are fully hydraulic. Options include: heater, dual sidemounts, wheel trim rings, fog lights, rumble seat, electric clock, and modern seat belts and turn signals for safety. This particular Sport Coupe has proven it is a strong and reliable touring car. It was driven from Canada, thru Colorado over the Eisenhower Pass and onto Disneyland in Anaheim, California on the Race.Today it is still a beautiful car with its contrasting dark blue fenders and cream main body as it was -driven cross-country. Note: I cannot verify the mileage on this 1936 Buick, however eBay requires something to be shown in the auction.
