1970 Buick Stage 2 Ram Air
1970 Buick Skylark Stage 2 Tribute they only made around 20 in real production Gm cars that where made in 1970 it was for high end corporate guys only could inquire one like Kenny Bell last of the good muscle car wars at the race track!!. The car sat in a dry storage for about 20 yrs never in salt or winter always a southern car from California . It still has the original paint and interior and sheet metal untouched still nice but not perfect and rare patina through out with small center dog dish hubcaps that’s the way they want them today hard to find one like it only original once No rust !! .The car undercarriage is super clean with no rust and original very clean for 50yrs old .The engine bay is super clean and still looks original the Buick still has all original sheet metal,there are nicks some chips in the paint that where touch up and some digs here and there through out to be expected for 50 yrs old car the paint still looks dam nice for being original. This car is super cool and even though it is not a original Stage 2 it is a rare hard to find car post car with a factory rubber floor mat instead of carpet that's rare!! now a days to fined . This is last of the 2 cars I have for sale hate to see this one go the reason for sale trying to support my brother who has cancer unfortunately sad!!!.
The car was ordered as a plane Skylark no option on the car except A/C which now gone the proper a/c cover was replaces with a factory one you would never know .It was ordered with heavy duty front and rear suspension dog dish hubcaps. What is really super rare !! it was ordered with a rubber floor mat it was carpet delete but still exist today not many around like it . There is a factory Buick hood mounted tack and stage 2 scoop that was added some time ago nicely done .
The the original Buick 350 is long gone the car now has a ram air with a 355 Chevy with 375+ H/P RUNS & sounds Really GOOD !! IT WILL Put you back in the seat!!, YES I know !! it is not original to the car but if I where not to say anything you would not know it looks factory. It has 4 bolt main, aluminum BRODIX street heads roller rockers forged pistons 10 & to1 COMP! nice sounding cam hyd! was rebuilt in 2008 runs super with some receipts we found of the new engine parts which has about 2000 miles on engine the only thing from sitting just needs to be driven I am sure there are things that you may have to do just like any old car not perfect to be expected.
The car has a new TCI 350 turbo trans all done all heavy duty parts with shift kit regular shifting pattern I had put in a new B&M 2800 CONVERTER NEW ! Less then 100 miles on it . It has 12 bolt posi rear end 410 gears, new shocks, boxed lower and upper factory control arms also factory heavy duty upper frame braces that the car was ordered with from the factory.
All new front suspension with tubular upper&lower a arms by Hocthkins with all new disk brakes brake booster master cylinder and with a new close ratio power steering gear box and all new tires and ET Streets on the back was added just recently .I can send a video of the car running nothing to hide I drive it and runs like a muscle car should people from the shows love it draws a lot of attention you just don’t see them anymore. Please ask questions I explained everything on this car to my best of my ability to what I know and again not perfect but super nice and just a rare find this is a really a cool car and a time capsule of a hard to find mostly original car .
