The Invicta was a midsize, mid level sporty model that was produced by Buick from 1959 till 1963. The second generation model hit the market in 1961 and was abuakalbe as a 2 door convertible, 2 door hardtop, 4 door hardtop, and 4 door station wagon. This 2 door hardtop model features the... upgraded 401cid V8 engine mated to a smooth automatic transmission. The body is stunning and very straight and is finished in an eye catching Tampico Red with a white metal hardtop roof. The chrome trim is in wonderful shape but has a little peeling in a couple spots. Cragar five spoke wheels are fitted and give the car a sporty look. The interior is finished in a matching bright red and features front bucket seats, as well as painted dashboard with lots of bright work. The dash has factory instrumentation and has a Sonomatic radio. Carpets, headliner, and door cards are in lovely shape. In addition to the 401cid V8, the car also features power steering, power brakes with front discs, new alternator, rear air shocks, electric radiator fan, electric ignition, and pickup coils.
