Description of 1987 Buick Grand National Grand National

1 owner 1987 Buick Grand National 3. 8L Turbochaged V6- coupe purchased new off hauler as it was delivered to Alberters Buick on Eisenhower blvd. Richland. Pa. by my Father who I am listing for. All original except for expected maintenance items and all original paperwork including pre-tiltle slip. window sticker etc. My father bought new at age 45. ow 73 and drove it daily. weather permitting spring through fall and stored in garage for winter months. Never seen snow or road salt. Mobil 1 oil used since new. regularly maintained with differential fluid. Transmission fluid. tc. changed until we put into storage in 2010 in heated garage on my business property. It needs minor TLC. window molding rubber. a/c compressor is inoperable. electronic brake unit needs replaced/rebuilt etc. although brakes do work but has a short fade when initially depressed. turns red brake light on a second then goes out and brakes are normal. (a complete with pedal etc. vacuum brake conversion comes with vehicle-it is used off a regal but never installed yet. A small hole in rear seat back lower ares center in the black area which appears to be a burn hole. original paint. lower rocker panels and lower quarter panels have sandblasting appearance from normal driving since paint is known to be thin. no metal showing. nbsp;1 ding from tennis ball on driver side upper quarter panel below side window which cold possibly be popped out if interior panel would be removed (kid with tennis ball got his butt kicked back then!) original rims which need some cleanup/polish. Radio/dome fuse is removed due to a draw diagnosed in the factory radio. Performance wise is stock except a Hypertech stage 3 thermo-chip and thermostat. It could use a tune up and valve cover gaskets. (oil smoke seen from seeping valve covers when starting now since been stored-NO EXHAUST SMOKE-just engine bay) Transmission and differential work perfectly but would recommend changing fluids/filter since sitting last 4 plus years. both power windows work slow as expected since this was common. Muffler and tailpipes were replaced with stock parts 10 years ago. Battery replaced in 2014. Any questions please contact me. Ryan at 61o-5o5-93o5. My father can be contacted through me. I talked to a friend that runs a bodyshop and has a 86' GN and he said they all get brittle and replacements are available. Just wanted to let everyone viewing know.
