Description of 1987 Buick Grand National |
Hello, I'm selling my 1987 Buick Grand National, all original with 20K documented miles. I am not a car sales man, I do not make a living buying and selling cars, that being said I will describe the car to the best of my ability. I am not a mechanic and I recommend anytime that you make a car purchase that you have the vehicle inspected prior to buying for your protection. That being said I consider myself an honest person and I will describe the car as accurately as possible as if I were planning on buying the car myself. I bought this car from Gulf Coast Motor works in Bonita Spring, Florida on December 2014. I have a free clean and clear Texas title under my name, Auto Check shows that I am the 4th owner and shows car to be free of any issues. I will include copies of the Auto Check report to the winning bidder upon request. There has been no money spared in keeping this car 100% stock, I have invested over $3,800 in parts only not including labor to maintain and keep this 87 Grand National running in optimal condition. All parts were bought at HighWay Stars in Illinois and have been replaced with OEM, NOS or OE replacement parts to keep this car 100% original / stock. There isn't may Grand Nationals left that are stock or original, most of them have been modified, cut up, raced or abused. It's obvious that the previous owners took good care of this car and that is was never abused or raced. Parts replaced are as follows: Stock turbo was rebuilt to better than factory specs & waste gate they both were rebuilt by Limit Engineering in Arizona, Power Master brake unit was replaced with an NOS / OEM unit, brakes were bled, flushed and new break fluid was added, OEM coil pack was replaced, OEM ignition coil was replaced, OEM spark plugs and wires were replaced, all front & rear brake components were replaced along with all new brake hoses, fuel filter & fuel lines replaced, transmission oil serviced and gasket replaced, differential oil serviced and gasket replaced, any and all gaskets were replaced, 42lbs injectors and turbo tweak street chip installed to bring the car to optimal running conditions etc.(over $3,800 on parts alone with receipts as proof) Its on thing to say that you have replaced parts on a car but I have kept all original OEM parts listed above and listed on the receipts that were removed from the car and have receipts to proof that they were replaced 1 for 1, I did that to give the next buyer peace of mind. I will include all replaced OEM parts in the truck of the Grand National that were removed from the car along with the sell of this vehicle, thats what an Honest person does, he backs up his words Everything on this car works as it should, the car drives and handles great, the transmission shifts as it should, all lights work, power windows and door locks work, the paint is a high 8 low 9 only because the car is 32 yrs old but car shines nicely, this is no visible rust, scratches, dents or hits of any kind. I also have original paperwork & books (bill of sale etc) dated back to 1987 when the car was first purchased by the first owner (see pictures) The only 2 known issues to my Knowledge are #1 the OEM radio turns on but the antenna does not go up causing radio static, a common problem on these cars, and #2 the A/C could use a recharge other than that I have described the car to the best on my knowledge This is my personal car it is adult owned, never abused or raced, I keep it in my garage at home, I drive it once a week to take my wife to dinner. I will gladly assist the new buyer in delivering the car to his chosen auto shipper (at buyers expense), all I ask is to please give me 48hrs notice so that I can make arrangements at my work. This car is ready to be driven may trouble free miles, its one Bad Ass classic car that will only keep going up in value, there isn't may of these cars left in an original condition. Good Luck and God Bless |
