GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 for your consideration. This GS Convertible has been built from the ground up with modern pro-touring engineering. It is powered by a fuel-injected Buick 455ci V8 engine that produces a dyno-tested 562 horsepower and 562 lb. ft. of torque. The 455 V8 is mated to a Tremec 5-speed transmission and sends power to the rear wheels through a 3.73 Posi-Traction rear end. The engine has a Custom... Star air cleaner and a March Performance serpentine belt. All of these come together to make for one of the best complete drivetrains to come through our doors. The exterior has been painted Pacific Blue that is paired with a Dark Blue stay-fast power convertible soft top. The car features all original sheet metal that was built off of a 1972 Buick Skylark convertible from Texas. Riding on a Global West suspension and sitting on 18inch Raceline wheels wrapped in Nitto tires, the car has an impressive stance. Inside you will find the factory pearl white leather interior with custom bolstered bucket seats. There is also a matching pearl white trunk interior. To add safety and driveability 3-point seat belts were installed. This car is actually a 1972 Buick that has been made to look like a 1970 GS Stage 1. There are not many restorations that are as good as this one. Accompanying the car are hundreds of photos depicting seemingly every part of the restoration process. Also included with the car are receipts and a car show board that details all of the upgrades and special features. Now is your chance to own a truly beautiful car that drives spectacularly well.
