Description of 1972 Buick Centurion 2 Dr. Convertible

1972 BUICK CENTURION CONVERTIBLE
The Buick Centurion was offered only from 1971 thru 1973. It was the mid-line model between the LeSabre and the top of the line Electra 225. This Centurion Convertible is offered in its original Royal Blue with a special order white vinyl interior. It was repainted several years ago in a base coat clear coat. It looks great from 10 feet, but it really needs a good wet sand and buff to make it show even nicer. The 455 cu. in engine runs great showing 114,147 on the odometer. The interior still looks very nice for being all original. The power convertible top is fairly new and looks great. Recent mechanical upgrades include carburetorrebuilt, new brakes, new brake lines, new fuel lines, new water pump, radiator removed and flushed, new muffler and partial exhaust pipe and fairly new tires as well. It also comes with another white top, not one but two fiberglass Parade Boots (which are impossible to find), a white soft boot and many hard to find parts. Unfortunately, while it was being working worked on, someone removed the Buick center caps from the wheels. The A/C is working, but I think the line is slightly plugged at the expansion valve which shouldn't be a costly fix. All power windows work but the driver door, but I have another window motor for it. Power seats work great.
I'm selling this Buick for a dear old friend of mine. He says its time it goes to a good home. This Centurion is kind of cool in it's own way. It needs a little TLC, but its worth putting the love into. If you have any questions, please give me a call....thanks, Ken 574-870-4888 Thank you for looking and hopefully bidding!
