Description of 1919 Buick Model H45 Touring

Buick is one of the oldest automobile brands in the world. The first Buick automobiles were built in 1899 and 1900 but the then company owner David Dunbar Buick was reluctant to jump into automobiles when they were already doing well with marine and stationary engine sales. Over the course of the next three years, they experimented and built automobiles. Then the plunge came and they incorporated in 1903, in Detroit, Michigan as the Buick Motor Company and that year 37 automobiles were made.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely stunning 1919 Buick H45 Touring. This gorgeous vehicle comes in a clean red paint job with black fenders complemented by a black interior and black convertible top. The dash retains its original gauges and the cabin is trimmed correctly. Powering this Buick is a 241 Cubic-inch inline 6-cylinder engine that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Rated at 27.3 horsepower, this Buick is surprisingly powerful with very smooth acceleration. The car runs and drives great. These cars rely on a mechanical braking system for primary stopping ability which is more than functioning and makes this much more than just a beautiful looking antique. This car was lovingly restored by its current owner. As such it has been properly maintained and stored since. This touring shows very well. This is a rare piece of automotive history that is sure to bring enjoyment and pride of ownership to its next caretaker!
