We are pleased to present this 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T Type for purchase. This was the last year of the rear-wheel drive Regals. This is one of the few cars produced in the 1980's that could truly be called a "muscle car". It didn't disappoint. The turbocharged 3.8L V6 engine was intercooled and fed by sequential fuel injection. The T-type also received the Grand Touring suspension, which was a performance upgrade to help keep the power firmly planted to the pavement. This includes independent upper & lower control arms with coil springs up front with a 32mm diameter anti-roll bar. A four-link with coil springs, as well as a 19mm anti-roll bar, keeps the rear end in place. Direct, double acting hydraulic shock absorbers reside in all four corners. T-type brakes use discs in the front and drums in the rear as standard which has a significant Powermaster booster. While the Grand National may have more power for Buick fans, the T-type hangs in there in performance due to the much lighter curb weight. This stunning T-type was sold new on 6-29-1987 at the Lorenz Bros. Buick in Lansing, MI. With just under 10,000 miles, this car remains in excellent condition. The car comes with the original sales sheet and the original title. Other notable highlights include bucket seats, center console, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, owner's manual, aluminum wheels with like new P215/65/R15 tires. The original wheels are available along with 3 of the original tires even. The blue exterior and chrome remain in excellent condition and the blue cloth interior is also in excellent condition.
