Description of 1987 Buick Grand National

Sorry about having to end previous listing there was a problem with my pictures. Up for auction is my 1987 Buick Grand National. This car is the real deal WE-2 package. Car was stored for 10 years before I bought it 3 years ago, that's when it started its restoration. So many new parts, I will try and list them all. All receipts will be include in the sale. Body and paint show very nice with only a couple of small dings, paint chips on front end and small cracks in fiberglass hood. The car was originally a t top car but was changed to a hardtop by previous owner which I had fixed and repainted, it's virtually undetectable. Interior shows very nice with many new parts. The floor was prepared with POR-15 and dyno matted then new carpet, new headliner, new upper door panels and rear panels, new NVU gauge package and new stereo. The power windows work as does the power driver seat, power door locks don't work. The A/C blows cold. Motor is not numbers matching but is the 3.8 SFI 231 CID V6 Turbo. It has about 1000 miles on it since rebuild.Motor features: - Aluminum Champion Heads (ported and polished) - Diamond pistons - Diamond piston rings - Eagle connecting rods - Forged crank (from TA performance) - Next Generation V6 roller cam - Morel hydraulic roller lifters - Hi Performance billet dbl roller chain - Stock intake manifold (ported and polished) - 80lb/hr injector chip combo (E-85 fuel) - TA 49 Turbo (set to 20 lbs.) - Bigger intercooler - New valve covers and breathers
Transmission is the 200 R4 which was rebuilt with 3000 stall speed converter.
Some other new parts: - 3" stainless steel exhaust system - Fuel tank w/ dual fuel pumps - Steering box - Steering column - Water pump - Rear lower trailing arms - Mickey Thompson drag radials - Wheel well moldings - Wheel center caps - Headlight bezels - Body emblems - Brake rotors - Hood shocks - Trunk mat
This car was restored with the help of someone who has 25 years experience working on these cars specifically, so all the best and best matched parts were used for this car. I've driven it as a cruiser and for speed. I've been told its probably a high 10 second car, even though its never been dynoed or raced. just taking an experts word on it. Please feel free to ask any questions I'll try my best to answer them.
