Description of 1985 Buick Riviera

Vehicle Details

Nice daily driver convertible- 1985 Buick Riviera. AS PICTURED. I collect these and picked this one up in Florida recently. Original paperwork has the Flint Michigan original dealer delivery docs, then service records in Tiburon CA in the late 1990's early 2000s, then went to south Florida. I know very little about the car's general history. You can see and drive it in Boca Raton FL, on weekends or weekday evenings through a friend who is keeping the car for me while I am out of state all summer. The car has a brand new, correct leather interior that cost me $3300. The AC is cold. It drives and runs nicely but I have not really used it. The mileage shows 72K, but some earlier service records show 98K miles- possibly the speedo head may have been replaced at some point as the rare electronic displays often had issues- this display seems to work well. Starts, stops, drives well. The power top is new but has a tiny hole on one side- goes up and down fine as do the windows; has glass defroster back window too. Dash is in nice shape- no fade or cracks. All power options are there, but passenger seat motor makes noise but does not move front to back, just the backrest reclines. Power antenna and factory AM FM cassette are in place but no sound-Prior owner told me he replaced the radiator recently with an aluminum one. I've done nothing to the car except the interior leather. I hope someone can take good car of this car- the parts alone are worth the asking price. These are beautifully designed cars, hard to find and this is one of the lowest price ones on the market. if your offer is accepted a $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours; you must complete the purchase within 3 business days by wire- the winning offer does not mean you get to spend a week setting up a visit and holding car until you arrive. Title will be fedex'd to you upon wire clearing. Zelle is also acceptable. I will not use other services that places holds or put fees on payment processing. You can also place the deposit and bring cash to pick it up within the completion time frame if you are local to Boca- I am reasonable but there are a lot of odd requests to hold.delay.etc and I just need to keep this simple. Check my feedback and prior Buick sales, please- and contact me though here to get my number and call me to speak in person or arrange a showing, before bidding. Thank you!
