1961 Buick Special DeluxeUp for sale is my 1961 Buick Special. Has the original 215 Aluminum V8 and 2 speed automatic transmission. The engine runs perfect and does not smoke. has a new NOS carburetor that I paid over $500 to find. Transmission has no issues. shifts smooth and no slipping. The odometer shows 40. 00 actual miles. I drove the car over 4K last year without a issue. Very nice driver in town and got 28mpg. Does have a vibration at hwy speeds as the rubber insulated 2 piece drive shaft needs to be re-tubed as a 1 piece. Body looks good from 20ft. Has a 25 year old repaint with ghost flames. paint is cracking and pealing in a couple spots. Solid floors. Minor rust in a couple spots. All gauges work but fuel gauge.
