Description of 1990 Buick Reatta Select 60 |
| In 1990 Buick rewarded the top 60 dealers with the opportunity to order a special Buick Reatta Convertible called the Select 60. This would be a white car with white top. and a two tone red and white interior. It also had special 16" wheels painted white. along with the only two options for a convertible. the CD player and 16 way seats. After purchase a special hood emblem was sent to the owners to put in place of the original emblem. Besides the 60 top dealers there were 5 more made for Buick execs. for a total of only 65 cars. After extensive research I have found all these cars are still accounted for. about 2/3s with the original owner. Many are low miles and sell for $30-40K (or at least that is what the asking price is). This is not one of those pristine cars. I had it shipped in from Calif with a bad tranny and a dent in the hood and never was able to have it fixed. It does not have the special hood emblem installed (this is my second-the other one did not as well). It starts up and runs fine. I have a clear title in my name. I have an untitled 1990 white parts car with a maroon interior that is included in the deal. It ran fine but I needed the injectors for another so now it does not start. Plenty of good parts. I have owned over 50 Reattas since 1988 (My license plate is Reatta!) and these are great cars that will only go up in value. The Select 60 is the rarest of all and most desirable. Please come and look at the car or ask questions. there are no guarantees. I can help with loading but shipping is the buyers responsibility. I can recommend a New England/New York shipper if needed.
