1954 Cadillac Fleetwood One of a kind Barn Find A Very Clean California Car

Up for bid is a very rare find, beautiful 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood that has been lost in a time warp. This 50's showgirl has not seen the light of day in decades until recently. This is an original California car from a wealthy family in the heart of the Silicon Valley. This car has been resting comfortably for over 6 decades.

The 1954 Fleetwood was the "Standard of the World" for people of means in 1954 and the choice of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe or anybody around the world who could afford the best. This Fleetwood was the Cadillac of Cadillacs.

This is a very rare automobile indeed as this one is all original and not restored. This is the original Driftwood paint that left the factory over 61 years ago. The interior is also original and in unbelievable condition from the little Cadillac crests on the seats to the headliner. It is all just outstanding considering the age. The chrome is still bright and shinny. This car's originality is outstanding which makes it a real survivor.

From lack of use the original 331 V8 was removed and professionally rebuilt to new. The brakes and wheel cylinders were redone as was the exhaust and many other wear items that were not worn from use but from lack of use. The odometer shows 48117 which I am sure is original but no one can legally guarantee actual miles on a 61 year old car.

This classy lady shows some patina with some scratch's on the paint but no sign of any previous damage. The underside of this rare car is as solid and true as you will find which is the reason original California cars are sought after worldwide.

The 1954 Cadillac's are some of Harley Earl's greatest design accomplishments and distinctive styles with many improvements including a lower sleeker body and new cellular grille inserts and inverted gull-wing front bumpers and tapered dagmar style bumper guards. The round, et -styled dual exhaust outlets were incorporated into the vertical bumper extensions and the rear bumper was entirely redesigned. An El Dorado type wraparound windshield was seen on all models. Sedans used a distinctive type of window reveal molding which created a built in-sun visor effect. A wide ventilator intake now stretched across the base of the windshield on all on all models and the chrome visor headlamp look was emphasized.

THE CADILLAC SERIES 60 SPECIAL The interiors of the one and only Cadillac Series 60 Special are designed to please the world's most discriminating clientele. And for their selection Cadillac provides a choice of twelve tasteful trim options utilizing light pattern nylon, lain all-wool broadcloth or V-Crest pattern nylon superbly matched with luxurious, ark-toned plain all-wool broadcloth. Seat cushion and seat back styling of plain bolsters and cushion sides with inserts of heavily padded l^-inc h pipes is continued into the trimly tailored door panels. Stainless steel door kick-pad moldings provide durable, ong-lasting beauty. Another, iner, tainless steel molding frames and accents the elegant, eavily padded vertical risers which form a light-toned panel within a rectangle of dark-toned sidewall cloth. Built-in door armrests which taper smoothly outward from the center of the door panels are covered in genuine leather in dark tones. Above the armrests, oor panels are finished in a light-toned painted finish with an insert panel of raised chromed lines with glossy satin-black grooves. In this panel are the automatic window controls, oor handle and vent wing control, ll in sparkling bright and brushed chrome finish.
