Here in this listing we have a 1962 Cadillac convertible 62 series. The car is super clean and basically all original except for some touch up on the paint. Nobody chopped this car up and messed with it. It runs and drives like brand new. Everything is so tight and it handles great. The motor sounds super quiet. I don't think new caddies are this quiet. This car has history and paperwork for being a California car. The car does need a light resto but is by no means a rust bucket like most found out there today. It needs no panels replaced. There is 2 small spots on the passenger fender. They are not that bad and can be addressed pretty easily. The only other bad spot is 2 dents on the drivers quarter panel. Paintless dent doctor said they can be taken out with ease. The paint does show well but has been touched up in spots all over. It will need to be painted. The body is straight and not a bondo bucket car. It was always stored indoors. The underneath of this car is perfect. Floors and frame are perfect. There has never been and rust underneath and probably never will be if continued to be taken care of. The trunk is also perfect. The interior needs the seats to be repaired as you can see in the pics. It also will need a new carpet. I took pics of the rear floors where the carpet is not there to show how nice the floors are. The dash is in perfect shape. No rips or tears. The car has power windows, ower steering. I have paper work in the past 10 years for a new transmission, as tank, uel pump, ending unit, ater pump, onvertible top, ront end, une up, ower steering lines, oltage regulator, rans lines and cooler. This car was well maintained over the past years. The chrome on this car is in beautiful shape inside and out. It has the original spare and jack in the trunk. The trunk is also finished off with a nicely done carpet and trim. The suspension is perfect. The brakes are all in good shape. The tires are perfect and have more than 3/4 life left. No dry rot.
