I love driving down the highway in this car and enjoying the sun with the top down. It is likeriding on a cloud.. The motor is in excellent condition. 500 Cubic inches of V8 power will float youdown the road nicely. The car has a smooth automatic 3 speed transmission. The top is nice, as a glass rear window. The cruise control works, he radio works, ll of the windows operate up and down properly. The interior has no rips or tears or funny smells. I was told by the previous owner that the mileage was correct. However, t is being sold as exempt on the mileage. The paint is good but could use a repaint. It has thetonneau cover. Has a car cover, pare tire, ack. The tires are like new. These cars have been climbing in valueand the reason why is because they are truly a cool classic car. The result was a rounder, uch heavier looking automobile, ade even more ponderous by the return of standardfender skirts. While Eldorado door glass remained frameless, he hardtop rear quarter windows were deleted, eplaced by a fixed "opera window" in the widened "C" pillar. A convertible model rejoined the line-up. This 126.3-inch (3,210mm) wheelbase version Eldorado would run through 1978, eceiving facelifts in 1973 and 1975. Sales in 1971 set a new record at 27,368. In 1972 sales rose to 40,074. In 1973 the Eldorado was removed from theFleetwoodseries and reestablished as its own series.[1][2][27]The '73 models received a facelift featuring new front and rear bumpers, gg-crate grille, ecklid, ear fenders and taillamps. The Cadillac Eldorado was chosen as the pace car for theIndy 500in 1973. Cadillac produced 566 of these special pace car convertibles. Thirty-three were used at the track during the race week, ith the remainder distributed to U.S. Cadillac dealers one per dealership. Total sales soared to 51,451, ver a sixth of all Cadillac sales. 1974 models featured a redesigned rear bumper, orizontal taillamps, ine mesh grille and a redesigned instrument panel, arketed in sales literature as "space age" and shared with theCalais,De VilleandSixty Special.
