Up for auction is a 1 owner original 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. The car has 48. 28 documented original miles. It has been in storage since 1986 when the owner died and his wife did not want to drive it. I have all receipts and registrations from 1974 when the car was bought until 1986. I also have the original owners manula and original set of keys with the original key fob. I bought the car from the owners estate with the plan to fix the car up a little and drive it. Unfortunately I have too many projects and I have decided to sell it. I did a complete tune up including spark plaugs. wires. distributer cap and rotor. rebuilt the original carburetor. new PCV. new vacuum lines. new belts. and an oil change. I took out the gas tank. had it cleaned. and reinstalled it with new rubber lines. I also serviced the transmission and put a new filter kit on it. The brakes are all new in all 4 wheels. Everything on the car works except for the AC which blows cool. not cold. The air ride. power windows. power door locks. radio. clock. power antenna. cruise control. power trunk. and power top all work great. The car 500 Cubic inch engine runs perfectly and the Turbo 400 automatic transmission shifts perfectly. With a new set of tires you could drive this car anywhere. guaranteed. The body on the car is great with no damage or rot. The paint is the original firemist blue and looks great from about 10 feet away. Keep in mind the car has a 40 year old lacquer paint job. There are areas with cracks. some chips. and some scratches. Overall the paint is very presentable and would be great for a daily driver. The passanger rear quarter and door have been touched up a very long time ago. The rear rubber pieces are showing there age and the 2 pieces ont he driver side have basically fallen apart. The trunk floor is perfect with no rust. The front floor pans are great with only a couple of small pin holes on the passenger side floor pan. The rear floor pans are excellent with no rot. The chrome and stainless on the car are all in great condition with no damage. All the lenses on the car are also in excellent condition. The convertible comes with the parade boots which are in excellent condition. The interior is in good condition. The front seat shows wear and the leather is cracking. The rear seat is great. Door panels are dirty in have some splits. Dahpad had 1 split on the passanger side. The woodgrain insert is cracked but I have another insert that is perfect to go with the car. The trunk area is in great condition and still has the black carpet which is in great condition. It has the original full size spare and the original jack. The car will need new tires since they are almost 30 years old. but they do hold pressure. The car will also need a new top becuase unfortunately the car was stored for 30 years with the top down.
