It is a great. one owner. non-molested survivor with 44 years of grace and patina. It runs great. has tons of pickup. stops and handles well. has a horn like a tug boat and turns heads. Valets often park the DeVille at the front of the queue. ahead of the Ferraris and Bentleys. Yeah. it is that cool. If you are serious enough to study the photos. and are considering a trip to see it. then you should have the information below so you are even more pleased and not disappointed when you arrive. I would rate it not quite a full Hagerty #3. but it is definitely well above a Hagerty #4. Follow the link below to see the Hagerty quality levels and average price guide for this car: >>>> http://www. hagerty. com/valuationtools/hvt/vehiclesearch By example. the original AM/FM radio cuts in and out (mostly out). so it shows that while it is not reliable. it is not completely dead. (i. e. loose connection) By example. the AC compressor works and blows cold. but the vacuum operated “climatizer” control unit in the dash has a vacuum leak and therefore does not control the push-pull vacuum operated dampers to control the air mix to set cabin temperature. The car is currently set to provide heat or no heat. The car body and frame are mostly solid. but there is some rust on the rear frame-to-body mounts (located just behind the rear wheels) as well as some rust on the bottom side of the rear bumper. Look over the underside photos The dash and door panels are NOT cracked. The leather looks great and feels soft. but there is some scuffing at the driver’s left shoulder area. The dash map lamp is missing. The paint is pretty solid given the age. but there are accumulated paint chips. some touched up. some not. So that is pretty much a list of what projects you might (or might not) want to tackle to pull the car cleanly into a #3 condition. Once again. 44 years. all original.
