History
-This Cadillac was bought new in 1973 in Hickory N.C. by George Murphy, ho became mayor from the mid-seventies thru the eighties. The car remained in his family for some time. In 2009 the car was featured prominently in the comedy "Taking Chances", ilmed here in NC. After filming finished the Cadillac was parked and remained undisturbed until the gentleman I bought the car from acquired it. Upon his procuring the car he did the necessary repairs to get the car on the road so he could enjoy it as a daily driver.
