Description of 1952 Cadillac DeVille

This is a nice original top of the line 1952 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It has been in storage since 1969. It has 58. 00 original miles. Interior: It has the Coupe DeVille special interior with the chrome on the headliner and leather trim. I believe a large part of the interior could be cleaned and saved. There is nothing missing on the interior. Engine: I have never attempted to start the engine. It does not turn over. It probably will need to be overhauled. It has the original hard to find air cleaner. Glass: All of the glass is in perfect condition. There is no cracked or broken glass. The windshield is in great condition. It has power windows that are run by a hydraulic pump under the hood. The pump will need to be rebuilt. This is the reason the windows are in the position shown. They cannot presently be put up or down without power from the pump. Body: See photos. If you need additional photos. I will provide them. The floors in the car are very solid. and also the trunk floor is very solid. The frame is very solid. The doors are not rusted on the bottom. They open and close as they should. It has the original paint with the dealer sticker on the back. I do have a good top grille bar that goes with the car. Title: There is a clear current Wisconsin title in my name. Since this is such an original appearing car. this would be a great candidate for a resto rod with a modern drive train.
