Description of 1977 Cadillac Eldorado

The 1977 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz was one of the last true full size luxury cars of the golden age of the American automobile. It managed to survive the gas crunch of the early '70's with its truly impressive dimensions fully intact as other cars and carmakers were already shrinking wheelbases and engine displacements in an attempt to compete with smaller. economical competitors. Leave it up to Cadillac to ignore all external market indicators and just keep producing the largest. most luxurious. most beautiful cars in the world. They are. for more reasons than I can count. some of the best classic cars to own. drive and enjoy. Classic cars are one of the major passions in my life. and they are all great sources of joy. but most of them just don't measure up to a Cadillac. A vintage Cadillac. because they were made to such a high standard of build quality and a philosophy of luxury and refinement. nbsp;can be driven every day very easily and enjoyably. They start easily. run quietly and the interiors are legendary for noise reduction that far surpassed other cars of the period. so they feel very modern to use regularly and seem to benefit from the exercise. I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO HAVE THIS CADILLAC SOLD BEFORE CHRISTMAS. SO MAKE ME AN OFFER!! I have owned and collected classic cars for the last 26 years. beginning with the 1969 Dodge Charger I bought when I was sixteen. and which I still own today. I still own my 2nd car as well. a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am. which I drove from my senior year in high school through to my second year of graduate school in the department of English at the University of Central Florida in Winter Park. FL. So my passion for classic cars -- and especially Mopars -- has been a lifelong pursuit and is about the most fun I can imagine having. I am an Oxford-educated motorhead that's been car crazy since bell bottoms were in style the first time around. And because I love to find. own. drive and collect all kinds of classic cars. there comes a point when I have to sell a few of them to keep my collection manageable. or else they all don't get exercised like they should. This is one of those times. MAKE ME AN OFFER:). My collection has expanded to about two dozen cars. when really. if I am totally honest with myself. I should get it down to about twelve so that I have the time to drive and enjoy them all. I am a firm believer that cars should and need to be driven. And when I can't drive them all enough. I go through the painful process of letting a few of them go on to new owners that will hopefully get out there and drive them more than I have time to. As you can see. I have other cars listed for sale; and before its all said and done. there will be about ten up and available. And if you have a cool classic car that you think might be a good swap. that might work too. I've owned my Biarritz for about 3 years and have enjoyed owning it very much. It is an extremely low mileage example and behaves accordingly. It is. without question. the most comfortable car I have ever been in. bar none. Everything works very nicely. even the clock. and it is incredibly striking to behold. It is my goal to find it a new owner that will appreciate and enjoy it as much as I have. Thank you for taking the time to look at this very special Cadillac. If I can be of any help. please let me know. MAKE ME AN OFFER!!:). I have included links to a flickr photo set and videos I've done of the car.
