Description of 1987 Cadillac Allante Coupe Conv |
Great Lakes Classic Cars presents 1987 Cadillac Allante Convertible coachwerks by Pinifarina Always a huge fan of these colaborations between the American and European Automakers. They often are responsible for leading edge advancements in performance, tyling, nd technology. The Cadillac Allante was born from the dreams and desires to make something special and to lead the Sports / Luxury Segment. Cadillac snapped up the opportunity to further enhance their brand image and forevercement their DNA in the Sports / luxury arena forfuturegenerations. Today, adillac still leads the way asthePremier Domestic AutoMaker under the good 'ol GM umbrella. This particular example has all its original body panels still hung hence the pictures of the VIN tags still visibly intact. Thedriveline is barely a teenager with these low miles and perform as intended with plenty of pep and attitudeindicative of a sport 2-seater roadster. Theexterior though providing much shine and great looksdoes have a few areas where it has began to show a bit of age. Sunfading on the metallic paint is common and there is a spot on the hood as shown in picture, the mirrors also show a bit offade due to its inherit satin/matte black factoryfinish. For a 1987, ther than your typicalaging andcommon cosmetic wear, his Caddy is in really good shape. The Interior is stock original and other than some normal wear and fading is still in exceptional shape. The Soft Top is factoryBlack and is in good shape; It does have a couple worn in smallareas where the frame arm rubs onthe fabric, lso a common occurance on these cars. I have seen the same happen toother GM F bodied carsand Corvettes. All in a nutshell, his carshould be interpreted asaffordableSport Luxury ready to be enjoyed by its new owner..
