Description of 1976 Cadillac Eldorado 22k miles original

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible.
Up for auction is a very handsome Cadillac Convertible. This car is believed to have original 22k miles. The car starts up easily, drives very smoothly with nice powerful acceleration, shifts very smoothly, rides smooth and tight, brakes well too. The car has recently passed California smog. The car is in very good condition, under the hood the car still has the assembly line wax markings on the firewall and under the hood; also the power steering pump still has a factory AC Delco power steering filter (see pics, I have never seen that before). Almost all of the hose clamps on the under-hood hoses are the original factory style. The steering wheel is not typically cracked and the steering column has no wear where the keys usually swing back and forth in the ignition switch, the wear on the pedals looks minimal. The car comes with both original front and rear carpet mats and rubber trunk mat. The are a couple of spots where the leather has been sun dried and come apart. The knobs and switches look hardly used.
The windows and door lock work very well, go up and down fast, the power seat works, and the power top works well too. The original radio works well and comes with and eight track, the power antenna motor works but the antenna doesn't go up and down. The horn and wipers work, the gas gauge reserve light works but the gas gauge does not move. We had the a/c serviced and switched over to R134a, the a/c blows cold but only through the bottom vents. The lights and power trunk pull down works. The car has the fiberglass parade boot covers, original jack kit and spare.
The car is solid and rust free, the body and paint looks very nice. The paint looks mostly original with normal small parking lot/garage dings and minor chips/scratches. The fender extensions and rear bumper filler have been replaced. This car was donated to a charity, and from what we can tell, was in storage for the last 25+ years. When this particular charity processes a donors car they remove all the documentation from the car, so we do not have any owners manuals, etc.
