Fully restored by GM engineer/Kettering Grad, this “bodacious finned” Caddy was completed to a very high level. He presented this car as a gift to his favorite University professor, who recently passed away. We are handling the sale for the estate. The video below shows how nice the car runs, drives, brakes and steers down the highway. Experimenting with my new “GOPRO” wide angle camera, the photos are very high resolution, to get a really good look. 100 + more photos are available in normal angles, if this mode bothers you! The 390 drive train was rebuilt and runs well, with nice paint and polished components. Vintage A/C was added to keep it cool, and power brakes were upgraded to a later, safer system. Hydromatic tranny shifts nicely. Rear end is quiet, and suspension has been serviced and ride is tight for a 59. Power upgraded disc brakes stop straight. Glass is clean. Lots of $ spent on show level chrome and polishing. Seats are firm with fully restored interior kit. Upgraded hidden stereo. Please watch the video. Come and drive it, or schedule a professional inspector to review this Caddy. It would cost in excess of $100k to restore this Caddy to this level, in today’s dollars.
