No Reserve.....1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Clear title in hand, ready to be transferred. No liens. This car is a deteriorated restoration. The car has a amateur candy paint job that was done several years ago. The prep work was not done well, and the paint was not put on thick enough, nor was any clear sprayed on. The car has no rust on the body, and a small bit of surface rust underneath. The seats were recovered several years ago and are still in really nice condition. The seats have clear plastic covers. The rest of the interior appears to be from the factory and is in good condition. I'm going to list the good and bad of this car. I bought it to restore but I just don't have the funds or time to do it so it must go. The car was leaking coolant when I first bought it and I replaced the water pump and there have been no leaks since. I also replaced the thermostat, radiator cap and upper radiator hose. I also did a coolant flush and put fresh coolant in. I have also changed the oil in it twice since I've had it with Valvoline Synpower 10W30 and AC Delco oil filters.NADA low retail is 5925.00. More pics can be sent upon request. Please note, just so there is no confusion, the car has 101,660 miles and had 102,000 when I bought it. The title states that is has 120,000 miles which is not accurate, it was entered wrong at the clerk's office when I transferred it. Good: factory built convertible low production numbers value is going up body is straight, with no rust Classic Eldorado grille leather seats have been recovered custom made convertible boot in dash DVD monitor with custom headrest monitors all factory speakers replaced with Clarion speakers, powered by a 4 channel amp rear air shocks exhaust system is newer with no leaks 20" wheels very little surface rust underneath new hood insulation pad Autocraft Gold battery (less than a year old) floor board carpet is in good shape trunk carpet has been replaced door panels are good, just a little loose glove box door was replaced digital speedo works fuel gauge works fuel mileage info works cruise works Bad: paint is faded dash is cracked front bumper has a dent some bushings are worn underneath transmission selector needs bushing (included in sale) transmission has a small leak back seat belts are in bad shape telescopic steering wheel not working steering wheel needs aligned right turn signal doesn't work interior lights don't work dimmer switch doesn't work power seats don't work power locks don't work horn doesn't work starter sometimes doesn't work front bumper filler is deteriorated the 2 back tires need to be replaced, front 2 are ok with a little dry rot convertible top switch sometimes doesn't work convertible top has some staining reverse lights are out brakes are soft chrome trim and chrome wheels have some pitting some of the headlight mounting tabs are broken engine could use a tune up aftermarket keyless entry doesn't work a/c doesn't work2 trim pieces for the handles on the back of the seat are missingone vent is missing above the climate control |
