1947 CADILLAC62 SERIES SEDAN This Caddy still retains the original 346 c. i. Flat Head EngineStill has the Hydro Matic ( HydroMatic) TransmissionI would LOVE to restore this beauty. Henry Leland definitely made some of the greatest cars. Cadillac was one of "The Cars" to have in this time period. Not to many of these around. I noticed that the fire wall (between the engine and seating compartment) is very solid as well as the frame. Still has the original rear end in it. Radiator. Dual horns. Radio. nbsp;Clock and steering wheel are still there. The floors seam really solid as well. There is rust in the trunk area and trunk lid. There are ALOT of OEM parts on it. Again. I have LOTS of photos to send if you need them of a certain area. As you can see in the photos this car will need restored. The engine turns over freely with no weird noises or chatter. I personally had the engine trying to run but not there yet. Still has the old AC spark plugs on it. It also still has the point system and 6 volt set up on it. Some unique features that I noticed. Original rear view mirror with glare glass. On the window visor the original. with GM insignia. beauty mirrors with writing (see photos). Clear title in hand. I took lots of photos of this post war Cadillac. so if there is a specific photo that you would need. please let me know and I'll get it for you ASAP.
