Description of 1989 Cadillac Allante Base Convertible 2-Door

Please read ad before bidding.
This car runs, shifts and drives very nicely, no leaks, motor is quiet, has a new muffler and alternator, newer brakes. It seems to be mechanically in very good condition. Also, it doesn't have the analog speedometer, which usually quits working. As you can see in the pictures, all the gauges (tach and speedometer) are mechanical. The convertible top has no rips or tears. This car comes with a hard top as well, you can see both versions in the pictures. The interior is decent--the driver's side seat has a little wear on the bolster. Some of the clear coat paint on hood and deck lid shows a little flaking and aging. Power window switches, which were always a problem on these cars, need to be repaired because the contacts get dirty on them. The trunk doesn't open with the key. If you look on Ebay for parts there's a guy who will fix them for $60. These cars will soon be collectible, although this one needs some TLC and being sold as is,no warranties, it is a deal. I am selling the car at a low reserve. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Jim 330-606-7476. $500 deposit through Paypal, balance due in 48 hours.
