Description of 1972 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe

You are viewinga 1972 Cadillac Eldorado finished in Stratford Covert Metallic with a light cream interior that is called antique light covert (Trim Code 483). Power comes from the legendary Cadillac 500 cubic inch V8 mated to an automatic transmission. It is showing just 63,987 miles on the odometer and these are likely actual from new. This car has spent most of its life in Virginia and its condition is just spectacular as a result. It was driven from Virginia to New York where I purchased it, and since then I haveenjoyed the luxury and style of this premier Cadillac coupe from 1972. The A/C blows cold and the power options work as they should. The stereo is magnificent.I would not hesitate to drive this Eldorado across the country at the drop of a hat! It is quite simply ready to cruise, enjoy and show. The body and chrome are very niceand the interior is all style. It has been detailed to a very high standard and even comes with the original owner's manual and warranty card with the buyer's name and address and date of purchase indicated.I've had several requests for a photo of the undercarriage, so I've added a close-up that is indicative of the its clean condition overall.

As an interesting side note, Sir Walter Raleigh, the sixteenth century gentleman and explorer, was obsessed with finding ElDorado, the mythical city of gold from which Cadillac's flagship borrows its name. He went in search of it on at least three separate voyages, the last of which got him in some seriously hot water. I believe heengaged in a skirmish withthe Spanish on this voyage, which was expressly forbidden by the king, and so was executed upon returning to Englandin 1618, the city of gold having eluded him to the end.The legend of El Dorado has a long history of evoking the highest of passions, and Cadillac's finest creation is a part of this storied tradition. I encourage you to do some reading about it on your own. Let me know if you have any questions about this Cadillac; and I also consider trades. Thank you
