Description of 1959 Cadillac DeVille

Up for auction is a complete, never restored, never crashed, original paint, garage kept 1959 Cadillac Series 62. I am the 3rd owner of this gem of a car; the last owner had it from the early 1980s until last year. It has been garage kept its entire life and you can see this from the original paint that still looks great. I have verified with the previous owner that he has never had the car repainted, I could not find the original owner, but feel confident that this is the original paint on the car.

The car body is straight, and the paint is solid, there is a very small patch of bubbles on both rocker panels in front of the doors. I have posted pictures of both for reference. The Caddy runs and drives like a dream, we have no problems taking it around town and on the freeway turning heads the entire time. It is the original number matching engine, and right now there are no repairs to speak of with the engine. The only problem to speak of is the rocker bubbles.

The interior of the car has been redone once, and the reupholster is in great shape. All the window controls work and the dash cluster works well with the exception of the clock.

If I have forgotten anything, or you want more pictures or want to come see this beautiful car, please message me. I encourage you to see the car before bidding, and you will see just how special this one really is. I do not believe there is a finer start to a project or a better candidate for preservation anywhere.

Please make sure you can buy ship, have permission from your significant other, and have room for the car before bidding. All bid retractions will result in blocking from future auctions.

A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction’s end, the amount less $500 is due in the form or cash or cashier’s check. Please note if you pay by cashier’s check you will have to wait until the hold is dropped from the check to pick up the Caddy.

Good luck and happy bidding
