Prior Ownership:

Original owner was Pennsylvania Adjutant General Frank Weber. At the time of his ownership the car had a 2 star General license plate while at the base that will go with the car. I bought from the second owner several years ago.

About the car:

Easy start everytime, runs and drives beautiful. No rust with older repaint.

Interior upholstery including carpet and convertible top (cloth) were redone just prior to my purchase. In the last 24 months this is what I have done to the car.

New re-chromed front and rear bumpers, front grille, hood lip molding, hood goddess and front fender Cadillac script. All body side moldings straightened and polished including hubcaps with restored center medallions. The wheels were stripped and powder coated with new Firestone WWW tires. New exhaust pipe.

Recast steering wheel

Completely rebuilt hydraulic pump assembly

New voltage regulator, coil, wires, plugs, etc.

New convertible top roof rail and trunk weatherstripping, also replaced the brake and gas pedal rubber.

Never got around to detailing under the hood.

WhenI was planning to put this car for sale and looked at all the comparable 1947 Cadillac Convertibles.What I foundwas several for sale on EBAY or Hemming'swithprice tags of 85k on average from retail dealers. Thiscaris just as good or quite honestlyin better condition than most ofall thathave looked at for sale.I'm bias of course so please take a look for yourself and you be the judge.
