Description of 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood D'Elegance

Up for sale is my 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance.
This is a very, very nice example of this car. Its finished in Cotillion White over Dark Blue Leather. The car is equipped with the hard to find 5.7 Liter Fuel Injected V-8. Fitted with the D'Elegance package makes it an even rarer find. Everything on the car is as it presents in these photos. The air blows cold, the cruise control works, the power windows and seats operate.
These cars with this engine are becoming more and more difficult to find. They ride and drive so nice its difficult not to drive it every day. Folks routinely stop me asking what year the vehicle is, where did I find it etc. Like most classics it generates attention and stories from folks about a family member that had one etc.
If you are not aware, the D'Elegance package gave you the tufted "button pillow" seats and a very thick carpet. See pictures of the original window sticker as well as the original leather bound owners manual that I will include with the car. Also included is the factory tool for removing the locking wheel covers.
If this carhad 10,000 mileswith a factory astro-roof it would be worth in excess of $50,000.00and I would not sell it. See Matt Garrett's website at gm-classics.comYou will see some of my ultra low mileage vehicles on his website as well. I collect ultra low mileage Cadillacs but when I saw this one I purchased it because of it's condition and the fact I could drive and enjoy it. I own other cars - all with 2400 miles or less on them and I simply can't drive them because of the detrimental effect adding miles will have. If you want to show this car - you can do that. If you wish to drive this car - you can do that as well. In my opinionyou wont lose on this vehicle (unless you wreck, modify or put over 50,000 miles on it)because it gets more rare every day that goes by. The flaws on the vehicle are minimal. A few stone chips. The power antenna does not operate. You can manually put it up or down. On the right rear door there are some dings on the chrome strip. Not enough to replace it but I know its there. I have taken up close photos of the body panels and pinstripes so you can see how straight the vehicle is. The chrome is in nice shape, the steering wheel is still plump - not all nasty, dried outand ruined. Look at the close up photos of the seats and door panels. Most older cars on ebay....the sellers wont post a picture of the driver's seat showing the wear from entry and exit. I've posteddetailed photoshere. Also, if you are familiar with these cars you know that the armrest on the door panels is a wear area for cracks, rips and tears. Again, I've posted pictures here. The tires are not original but very nice looking white stripes with good amounts of tread remaining. There are no warning or caution lights illuminated.
All around its a great older Cadillac one can drive and enjoy while also making a good investment.
I am a retired Olds/Cadillac/GMC Truck Dealer. I sold my small, countrydealership in 2000. I maintain my Dealer's license in Texas to avoid hassling with the local dealers for me, my friends and family. I purchase my daily drivers at auction. From time to time I sell a car in my collection - usually so I can buy something else. Matt Garrett has an Eldorado I would like to buy so this one is going to go to help finance that purchase. Other vehicles in my collection are a 71 Chevelle SS, 2010 and 2011 Camaro Pace Cars, 85 Eldorado Biarritz(x2) - one hardtop and one convertible -and a 2008 Cadillac XLR. If you are interested in viewing my other vehicles please visit my website at ChairmanAviation.com. My day to day business is the management and operation of corporate aircraft.
I purchased this vehicle from the widow of its original owner. She explained the gentleman had retired from Bell Helicopter as an engineer and had purchased it upon his retirement. It sat in their garage - she was reluctant to drive it due to its size. The interior shows little wear - commensurate with a 35,000 mile car. The original floor mats are still in there and are in great shape.
I urge you to come and look at the vehicle before you buy it. I will also gladly take it somewhere local for an independent inspection. I have carefully earned my 100% feedback rating and want you to be satisfied.
