Description of 1925 Cadillac Other |
GORGEOUS AND VERY LARGE1925 CADILLAC V63 5 PASSENGER SEDAN ON AN EXTENDED 139" WHEELBASE CHASSIS. THIS IS A CUSTOM BUILT ALUMINUM BODIED CAR BY FISHER. THIS VERY CAR IS FEATURED IN THE BOOK "THE CLASSIC ERA" BY BEVERLY RAE KIMES WHICH WAS PUT OUT BY THE CLASSIC CAR CLUB OF AMERICA (SEE PICTURES) THE CAR IS HOUSED CURRENTLY AT OURBAR IN WISCONSIN CALLED "BADGER MOTOR CAR COMPANY"YOU CAN FIND US ON FACEBOOK TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR CLASSIC CAR AND MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM ACCOMPANIED BY A TAVERN. COSMETICALLY IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED OVER THE YEARS AND CURRENTLY SHOWS VERY WELL, WITH A GOOD DETAIL JOB IT WOULD LOOK EVEN BETTER. I WOULD GUESS IT HAS BEEN PAINTED ONCE AND HAS HAD SOME INTERIOR WORK DONE OVER THE YEARS BUT IT WAS ALL QUITE PROPERLY DONE. BOTH ARE SHOWING A LITTLE AGE BUT NOTHING OF A SERIOUS NATURE. BODYWISE I DOUBT THIS CAR HAS EVER HAD DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING RUST. THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED ALSO AND BEFORE COMING TO WISCONSIN WAS ALWAYS A CALIFORNIA CAR. THE NICKEL PLATE ON THE CAR EVERYWHERE IS VIRTUALLY FLAWELESS. IT FEATURES DUAL SPARES, A RETRACTABLE TROUBLE LIGHT UNDER THE HOOD, RETRACTABLE CIGARETTE LIGHTERS AND A TRANSMISSION DRIVEN AIR COMPRESSOR. THE 23X6 TIRES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH MINOR CHECKING. MECHANICALLY ITS ABOUT AS SOUND AS AN OLD CAR GETS. THE OWNER PREVIOUS TO MYSELF WAS A LIFE LONG MECHANIC AND REPAIR SHOP OWNER AND TOURED WITH THIS CAR IN MANY EVENTS OVER THE YEARS. IT SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET WITH A NICE RUMBLE FROM THE V8'S DUAL EXHAUST EXITING THE REAR. THE CAR HAS A MITCHELL OVERDRIVE SO IT HANDLES HIGHWAY SPEEDS QUITE WELL. IT STARTS EASY ALL THE TIME. THE ONLY THING I EVER NOTICED FROM DRIVING IT IN THE YEARS I HAVE HAD IT IS THAT OCCASIONALLY IT GETS THE TYPICAL OLD CAR WOBBLE IN THE FRONT END WHICH WILL HAVE TO BE CORRECTED BEFORE ANY EXTENSIVE TOURING. IT'S A VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH OLDER CARS AND WHILE I HAVE YET TO GET IT DIAGNOSED I HIGHLY DOUBT IS A SERIOUS OR EXPENSIVE PROBLEM.I AM MISSING THE KEYS FOR THE CAR BUT THEY ARE NOT NECESSARY TO START IT AND I WOULD THINK A COMPETENT LOCKSMITH COULD MAKE A NEW SET FROM A DOOR TUMBLER. I THINK ONE HEADLIGHT IS OUT AND PERHAPS THE DASHLIGHT(S). IM FAIRLY CONFIDENT THAT THE CAR HAS 48000 ORIGINAL MILES. THE CAR HAS BEEN PARKED IN MY TAVERN FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND IS ALWAYS OBVIOUSLY A BIG TOPIC OF WONDER AND CONVERSATION. WE ARE SELLING IT ALONG WITH POSSIBLY SOME OTHER VEHICLES TO FUND A BEER GARDEN AND SOME OTHER PROJECTS. I REALLY WOULD RATHER NOT PART WITH THIS GREAT CAR AND SO IF ONE OR TWO OTHER VEHICLES SELL FIRST I MAY BE PULLING THE LISTING. THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A TRUE REGISTERD AND QUITE UNUSUALCLASSIC CAR FOR A VERY REALISTIC PRICE. I MAY BE REACHED AT (920) 382 7422 for any and all other questions |
