Up for auction is my 1969 "Byzantine Gold" Cadillac CoupeDeVille. I have owned this car for the last 8 years, and whenever I had the opportunity to take her out, it has always been a pleasure. Sadly, I am losing my storage and I am forced to sell her. She has always been a garage kept vehicle throughout the 3 previous owners including myself. I want the next owner to insure that this tradition will continue so please be sure that your garage can fit her 18'6" length. I have a large folder full of receipts, and improvements I have done over the years while keeping the car 95% original. Some of the major improvements include, engine and transmission rebuild roughly 9,800 miles ago. Replacing all the major front end components such as idler arms, tie rods, shocks brakes, rotors, master cylinder, wheel cylinders front and rear bearings and steering components. The tires have about two thousand miles on them and have zero curb rash. Wheel skirts are rust free and clip on and off nicely. Vinyl top is bubble free as you can see from the photos with no fading or peeling. Carb was rebuilt last summer and dyno-tuned to get proper air/fuel mixture. Plugs were also replaced last summer along with rear differential fluid. Under hood insulation is 3 years old as well as the battery. Yes, the A/C works fine was converted over to 134 and the climate control head was re-calibrated to work as it should. The heater works better than newer cars I have rode in. Steering wheel was replaced with a 1970 Cadillac and the horn works fine. Glove box insert is intact and all interior lights along with the map light work fine. Neutral safety switch parking brake release was replaced which is a nice feature on these cars. All chrome and trim is rust and pit free with no bumper dents or scratched body side moulding. The only non-original parts on the car are the dual exhaust, floor mats, petronix points and condenser and of course the radial tires. The electric antenna works great and the radio is original AM/FM 5 preset style. The car could use new front and rear speakers. The only components not working are the electric clock, which can be replaced with a quartz type if the buyer wishes, and the rear defroster. I never use the cruise control, but all the parts are there. Newer custom Cadillac floor mats. Headliner and door arm rests along with the dashboard are crack and rip free. All exterior lights and markers work fine. Please call or ask if you need any more pictures/information or specific shots that I did not post. I can be reached early evening is best before 9:00P.M. EDT. at 267-312-0296. Nothing to hide here, just a great car that I want the next owner to treasure for many more years as I have in the past. Haggerty valuation is documented and it is cheap to insure with full coverage at 113.00$ a year here in Pa. I welcome any personal or private inspections but they must be done on my work schedule. Please only bid if you are serious about owning a car such as this. Please also realize that she is 47 years old and therefore comes with no warranty as I am selling the car as is.Please have your finances in order before bidding and obtain any and all permission from spouses, in-laws and other family members that may be affected since you may decide to sneak out for those occasional Sunday drives on your own! (Yes, I have been there). I am asking a fair price for the car considering all of the work that has been put into her along with the condition of the car so please don't ask me what my reserve price is or to lower my by it now price. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, but I will assist your carrier. If you are local to Bucks County Pa, we can arrange a personal viewing. For the winning bidder, I will accept a bank check, a personal check with clearance or cash in person before title changes hands and the car can leave. Deposit must be made within 24 hours with the balance paid within 3 days following the end of the auction. I can store the car for up to 2 weeks with full payment to insure the car is sold. Sorry, I do not accept pay-pal, too many fees! Good luck and I look forward to speaking/meeting the winning bidder.
