A 1966 Coupe DeVille. 20,471 miles on the speedometer believed to be 120,471 on the car. One repaint last year, painted by current owner a metallic brown, a nice car. Vinyl top was removed, the car has no rust, 429 CI V8 engine. All trim, glass, fabrics are all original. Has had three owners who have cared for the car. Current owner has worked out all the bugs. Second owner bought the car and decided to have the engine rebuilt. He removed the front clip and engine sent the engine out to have it rebuilt, when the engine was done he had someone put the engine back in the car and then the car sat in his garage for many years with the front clip off. The current owner bought the car as it was; had the front bumper re-chromed put the car back together. Bought and installed a new electric fuel pump,water pump, master cylinder distributor, battery disconnect, exhaust cross over pipe, and new belts and hoses.Replaced theCarter AFB carburetor. Everything works as it should, except the original AM/FM radio is not working. It should be fixed not replaced the AM/FM radio was a rare original option, has air conditioning but current owner did not have it recharged when he installed it after putting front clip back on car, it should work but has not been tested. Other options include telescoping tilt steering wheel, power windowsand seat. Car runs and drives as it did when it was new. Owner's manual is in the glove box. You may not find a finer example of. a 60s Coupe DeVille that has not been restored. Yes, you can buy a Coupe DeVille for maybe half the cost of this one, but you get what you pay for. This is a nice comfortable luxury car you can climb in and drive to the Cadillac & LaSalle Club's 2017 Grand National Meet in McLean, Virginia and not worry about it getting you there and back home again.
