Absolutely beautiful 1983 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Just rolled over 41,000 miles. Red interior. Newhead liner installed as well as sun visors recovered. Windshield had to come out to access the headliner so I had the company install a new windshield. I also purchased the front bumper spacers, rear bumper spacers and rear bumper fillers that go between the bumper and trunk lid as well as the license plate. They have been painted and installed. I bought the car at an auction. I have the original title dated 9/27/1983. The car is beautiful inside and out. The car has been garage kept all of its life. The paint, in my opinion, is very good. The carpet, seats, all of the interior is great, as well. If you would like to see it, contact me and I will be happy to have you come and check it out. The title has been signed but is left open. I have done this because a lot of people want the original title showing only one owner. If the new buyer would like me to change it over to my name I will be happy to do so. It will take approximately a week after the auction end to get the title back in my name. I will not have it changed to my name before the auction end and the non refundable down payment has been made. Once the title has been registered, there is no going back and I don't want to have a one owner car in my name that someone else does not want. Just in case they change their mind. As far as I know, everything works on the car. I checked the lights and equipment the day I bought it. The lights worked, the radio works great, the lighted numbers for the radio are not quite right, kind of looks like the numbers on the top and on the bottom are mismatched. I have no idea what causes this but it apparently has no affect on the operation, air conditioner works great, cruise control works great, Turn signals, brake lights, emergency flashers worked. Everything worked great that day and should still be in great working order. The only thing that I question is the radio antenna. It was not fully extended when I brought it home. I found no switch to raise and lower the antenna. After arriving home I fully extended the antenna by hand, no problem. It could be that the antenna raises on radio activation and lowers when radio is turned off. There is a very slight bend in the upper section of the radio antenna. I have a receipt where the estate or who ever was in charge of the car had it serviced, new fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel strainer, transmission filter kit, etc. had the car serviced just before the auction. $481.77. To my knowledge the car is in great condition, runs and drives smoothly. No jerks, hesitations or anything out of the ordinary that I can tell. The car has not had the front end aligned, or at least there is no record of it having been done. The tires are Michelin and appear to have good tread. The new owner might want to have the front end aligned as well as all four tires balanced. Should be a very minor charge for this. I would estimate $100.00 or less, depends on where you have the work done. The car is about 34 years old. There could be problems that I am not aware of but don't believe there is. The car is therefore being sold as is. A non refundable down payment of $750.00 is due via Pay Pal within 48 hours of auction end with the remainder due in cashwhen the car is picked up. I will consider a buy it now price if you would like to make an offer. As long as EBay will permit me to do so. There are a few very small chips in the paint. Probably a small rock caused each of these. I tried to show them in the photos. Nothing major, in my opinion but they can be seen. The car is not new but I think it is in great condition and I am sure other small issues can be found if looked for hard enough. As I said earlier, you are welcome to come check it out before bidding. Please ask questions before bidding. I will do my best to answer them. Again, the $750.00 down payment is non refundable. So please make certain that the car is what you want, that you can pay for it and that your opinion and my opinion of the car are the same. Thank you for looking.
