I owned this car for about ten years, sold it to a friend two years ago and just bought it back. Vermont does not title cars this old, so it is sold with a Vermont transferable registration and the original New York state title in my name which I had transferred to the man who sold it back to me.tires are good, in fact everything is good on this car, very solid car in excellent driver condition. I bought it from southern California in about 2005 so it came to me without rust, and it has been garaged ever since. it is licensed, inspected and ready to cross the country. the a/c needs a re charge about every other year. I cannot think of anything that is wrong with it. Call me at 914 525 7000 with any questions or call 802-362 4550 and speak to Scott if you want to see it. The car is for sale at his garage in Manchester Vermont, Manchester Engine Works, and is for sale locally there so it may be withdrawn prior to the close of this sale. The beginning bid is the reserve; the hardtop alone is worth over $1,000. It is a series one top with converting hooks to fit the series two car. The one nuisance with this car is that in order to either remove the hardtop or to raise/drop the soft top, you have to get out of the car; it is not a one handed operation and the final step is get the hook in the rear to grab whatever top you are using, pull it down, and shut off, ie not keep cycling. The soft top, a series two top, is stored in the well underneath the plastic cover. The car comes with a rack to store the hardtop when not in use. There is also a dustcover for the car in the trunk. All the carpets are clean and intact, as is the leather. Manchester is about an hour east of Albany NY. I will drive it down to the NYC area for any New York buyer or really anywhere in the Hudson Valley. On Aug-12-17 at 13:49:17 PDT, seller added the following information: The a/c is going to be converted and charged next week by Manchester Engine works.
