This is a 1941, series 62, convertible coupe which after 32 yrs of collecting parts..... still needs a lot of restoration. This will be an ambitious project for someone. My advancing age and health will not allow me to complete this car. I've found many of the missing parts... too many to show in the pictures. The floorboard came from a parts car & is mostly solid. I have already welded in 3 of the replacement panels. Two additional panels go with the car. A large rear quarter replacement panel also goes with the car. Not shown in pixs is similar to section already tacked in place on the rear drivers quarter. I had the rear shocks, but have moved 4 times since acquiring this car & have misplaced them. Started to restore the rear springs... but did not complete this task. Have the clutch & brake pedals and a restored master cylinder. Body is secured to chassis for transport only... have heavy cardboard between the floorboard and frame. Motor starts & runs smoothly....no muffler at present. New battery rebuilt fuel pump, water pump, starter, & I believe generator also. Has correct radio, and dash and dash hardware in good condition. Bumpers need rechroming. Grill is in reasonable condition with nice set parking lights. Hood closure chrome strip is cracked/broken on left side. Rear seat is similar to the front, just smaller and with same leather material. And, I believe the hood center strip has a small crack starting behind the flying lady hood ornament. One of the wheels is pretty rusty. Have the driveshaft which is not mounted in the car. Also have the front glass, which I believe is in tact, but may be cloudy. Side window glass and window flippers to guide the side windows and stabilize them when raised. Front vent window frames were not with the car when I bought it..... cost me over $1,000 to have a restorer machine them. Had a NOS rocker panel for one side of the car... but, it seems to be misplaced as well. Have a NOS Harrison radiator still in a military crate from WWII. Driver's door rusted out at lower back seam. Passenger door was fitted with a new patch panel by a professional restorer in Indianapolis. Gas tank was cleaned and coated with gas tank coating. Have a rough sending unit. New heavy duty battery box made by R.A.R.E. in Indianapolis...now closed for business. New heavy duty battery with ~ 900 CCA. Needs complete wiring harness. New trunk floor sitting in place .... left access through right rear fender & trunk to allow for additional welding, & access until ready to permanently weld in place. A 1x4 wooden strut now supports part of the right rear trunk/fender in position. Top irons are shown in picture. Have some additional latches for the top. Have 4 small hupcaps for the car. Left rear rim does not have the proper tabs to secure a hubcap. Nice rearview mirror. Deluxe heater setup provided. 2 underseat heaters & controls with dash/defroster vents. Tires are decent for moving around in your garage..... probably not suitable for the road. They do hold air without any problems. Transmission needs to be restored. Will need new clutch disc, etc. I have attempted to provide an honest assessment of this 76 yr/old automobile. I will help load and gather up all the parts that go with the car & would like to be available from the delivery. You can ask question through the "ask a question" section in the ad. Serious buyers may be able to reach me during the evening, on Fridays, & weekends. If ebay allows phone contact, my cell phone number is: (812) 374-9212. Best wishes to all who are interested in my '41 Cadillac Convertible Coupe. Warren B.
