This was going to be my ride in my retirement, a 1948 Cadillac fastback also known as a model 61 Sedanette. First I had a shop weld the front clip from a 1969 Fleetwood under it, they did a great job. It now has a 472 V-8 Turbo 400 transmission, tilt and telescope steering column, power steering, power brakes and would have air conditioning if I had not been diagnosed with Cancer. We also put the correct wiring harness for a 69 Cadillac, 2 front bucket seats from a 98 Eldorado, and a Lincoln 9 Bolt rear end with the gears welded together so it leaves rubber on both sides. The car has been in storage for 2 years now; the last time I checked it the trans rear seal had leaked fluid out and there was water in the oil. Now it just needs someone to take over and complete the car. Really this car is so rare and has so much potential I cannot believe I have to let it go for $4,000.00. No title.
