Description of 1969 Cadillac DeVille

THE MOTHERSHIP HAS ARRIVED! Its 1969, around the corner you see the nose of what you know is a Cadillac. But who's driving it? How can they afford such a luxury car in this neighborhood? Is it the mayor? A senator? The NFL Quarterback in your town? The PRESIDENT!!?! Almost 10 minutes goes by as it makes a right turn towards you and your friends playing in the street. You don't recognize the driver, or the bombshell sitting next to him, but you know that guy has "MADE IT".
Be different, drive something that will make you and others smile with nostalgia as they see this land yacht sail by. It drives like a cloud, much easier to maneuver than you would think. And, there is enough room to take the whole family to the car shows and then out to dinner on the way home.
Aside from the aforementioned left front fender, the entire car is original. Engine/trans(rebuilt)/rear, interior, paint, etc. It is not a mint-condition show queen. There are a couple of trim pieces missing, the paint doesn't perfectly match on the front fender, a couple interior plastic pieces are broken. The dark brown leather bench seats are in excellent condition, the vinyl top is original and it starting to peel a little.
All power options work. There is also a bonus air compressor system set up for the rear shocks if you are carrying a heavy load in that massive trunk! (See yellow compressor under hood). {Insert bodies in trunk joke here}
Drive into the country club and have the staff actually know which car is yours. Stand out from all the bland/boring overpriced foreign junk sitting in the lot.
So, there are two ways to go, drive it as is and enjoy. OR get a Winter-time project started at your house and be ready for the Spring shows. People are dropping LS motors in these things and are turning them into incredible daily cruisers. Either way, you wont have to break the bank to fulfill the dream.
