BUILD MY CUSTOM CAR DREAM! The fiberglass Ford Victoria replica bodies have a 120" wheelbase requirement A 1993-1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham has a 120.5" wheelbase RWD My dream was that I could cut off most of the Cadillac upper body & roof, leaving the Cadillac floorboards and firewall with the rubber isolation attachments to the frame to attach the fiberglass body parts. I would re-use the AC ducts & grilles and re-install them into a new wood dashboard. The seats are too wide, but I would re-use the motorized seat frames and install more narrow seats. I have designed, built and driven SCCA FV open wheel race cars and I believe that reliability and constructability of a custom car would be better and more easily constructed using as much factory built brakes, engine mounts, frame body mounts, AC, and other systems as possible in this custom car situation, especially air conditioning & etc. The Air Conditioning was recently modified to use R-134A refrigerant. The Transmission was rebuilt 20,000 miles ago I also have eight almost perfect Cadillac Wire Wheels for sale at $5,000 for each set of four. I also have a 500CID, 400HP 1976 Cadillac engine w/ 400 series Transmission for $1200.00. Looks like a Lt1 but noticeably larger, and heavier. I also have a 350CID, 260 HP, 5.7 L LT1 V8 1995 Cadillac (Corvette) engine and Transmission for $800.00 I also have an electric arc welder, engine hoist, window motors, if interested.
