LOW RESERVE Nothing like a Red Caddy convertible! Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly one of the nicest. and most original 1967 Cadillac DeVille Convertibles available! I just LOVE old Caddys. I grew up with them in my family. and my father was a staunch Cadillac man his entire life. If you drove a Cadillac back then. you were "IT". You had "Arrived"!! Owning a Cadillac was the epitome of Success!!! My Dad's first Cadillac was a Dark Green '56 sedan that he purchased sometime in the early sixties. I drove his Navy Blue 1967 Sedan Deville to my Junior prom. so I have a soft spot for this one. Had I not meticulously restored a 1954 Buick Skylark(My Dad had one of those also!). I would never sell this car. EVER!!!! It is quite special. and was very very much loved by the gentleman that I purchased it from. Personal circumstances forced him to liquidate his Cadillac collection. and re-locate to Florida!! There are 70 pictures below that tell most of the story. Please use the inside scroll bar. or you will miss many of the detailed photographs. I am told that this is a mostly original car that has had one repaint from Persian Ivory(Code 40) to Spector Red many years ago. The previous owner tells me that is was like this when he purchased it way back in 1989. It is nice and shiny. as well as super straight with excellent gaps and panel fit. I am told that the chrome is original. It is bright and shiny with no pitting noted(the turn signal bezels on the front fenders are slightly pitted. No big deal). The stainless throughout the car is in fantastic condition. It is bright and shiny with no dings or damage noted. The floors and frame are rock solid. with zero rust or patches. There MIGHT be patches on the bottom of both front fenders. but I am not sure. The rest of the car is 100% rock solid!! There are detailed photos below. The interior is said to be all original also! The padded dash looks just like it did 48 years ago!!! As far as I know. the clock. and the climate control are the only non-working items on the car. There are 2 toggle switches under the dash to the right of the steering column. The one on the left is for the blower. and it works on high only. The one on the right is a 3 position. and I don't know what it is for. The climate control switch kinda works the functions. Heat is hot. I can't get the A/C to blow cold. The compressor does engage. and is quiet. This system will need sorting. if you desire. The radio sorta works on FM. but cannot be manually tuned. I had music playing. and tuned it by pushing the pre-set buttons gently. Might be a simple fix? The power antenna does go up and down. as do the power windows and top. This Gorgeous Caddy Convertible runs and drives fantastic. especially with Goodyear radial tires all around!! Nice and smooth with no vibrations. or noise. They are date coded 0300(third week of 2000). and should be changed for long distance driving. Exhaust from the muffler back has been replaced. but I don't know when. The transmission has also been out at some time. and rebuilt. The cooler lines are also replaced. Mileage of 96. 00 is said to be actual!! We have a clean Pennsylvania title that reads ACTUAL MILEAGE!! Caddy lovers everywhere get weak in the knees when one like this becomes available. A collector owned. always garaged example that was apparently treated like one of the family! I have seen these cars bring close to $40. 00. 00(plus a 10% buyers penalty) at collector auctions for mint restored examples. This one is a SURVIVOR!!! You can tell by the condition of the Shiny paint that this Beauty was Always Garaged and Pampered!! The area behind the skirts is most vulnerable. This one is nice and solid! The convertible top looks original to me! Note the reflection In this Photo you can see just how nice and straight this almost 50 year old car truly is! The chrome is nice and shiny!!!! Our Gorgeous DeVille has been garaged at least for the last 26 years!! . The convertible top works well. Boot is a tad snug. but should relax with some sun exposurel! Nice and straight! None of the typical cracks here. And. 1967 was the last year for exposed wipers. and the Gorgeous cowl vents! Our Caddy convertible has Beautiful Chrome!!! 1967 is a very stylish year. Much nicer than '68(IMHO)! WOW!!! Extra sharp with the top down Original Caddy mats are still present. and in excellent condition The Bucket seats are quite rare. and VERY cool!!! Truly a Pampered and Pedigreed DeVille!! I would guess that only a handful have Buckets and a Console! Very nice trunk compartment with all jacking tools present!! A/C Retrofitted many many years ago! Note the "B" in the trim code indicating "Bucket Seats". Also original paint code of "40-2" indicates "Persian Ivory" with a Black Convertible top.
