Description of 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood

This is 1 of 841 built 1955 Fleetwood limos. It is being sold out of an estate. The owner had owned this car for over 30 years. The series 75 limousines were the top of the line in 1955. The limousines featured auxiliary seats for extra passenger carrying capacity. Engine output was increased to 250 hp in 55. The hydramatic automatic transmission was standard equipment. The car needs restoration work. We have not had it running. But it will run. The motor was rebuilt years ago. although not many miles ago. It was always stored indoors in the owners garage. Body is solid underneath. and has some small rust areas at the bottom of the fenders . It would be a great car to restore. These are very rare. Elvis had one that he traveled in for years. That very 55 Fleetwood recently sold for $ 170. 00. 00 . the orig paint code is for a black car. It was repainted years ago in the current silver.
