I purchased this caddy a few years ago when it only had a little over 50,000 original miles on it. Since I have had this car, it has been my personal "driving around town" car. - A day after purchase, I immediately replaced the radio with a new CD player/radio, replaced the speakers, & had a new muffler put on.
- I have kept it up on the caddy's maintenance, & have had parts & repairs done as needed or when something "aged out".
- If I kept this car for another Pennsylvania winter, my personal mechanic told me that I should have the brake lines replaced, since the lines are original 1991.
- I took out the antenna motor & it does just fine out all the time.
- I also took out the automatic trunk closer, because the old motor kept sticking, & at the time, was unable to find an original 91 trunk gear to replace it with. So, at the advice of my mechanic, I let him make the change.
- This is a sweet modern classic car, popular in Pennsylvania. The car gets lots of attention from the PA crowd too. I have had a few caddy lovers offer to buy the car from me, on the spot.
- We are simplifying our lives & needing to let go of a few beloved items. I love this car, but my driveway is only so big. Gotta let my reliable girl go.
