This 1938 Cadillac Sixty Special Sedan is a special built example, put together to cruise. I have some photos of the build process and information from the previous owner. This is a running & driving example that is in need of some finish work. It has had a ton of time & money spent on it. The car was built in the early 2000s from the paperwork we have. It sat in indoor storage until recently when it was brought out and some work done, new wheels & tires installed, etc. The chassis is custom built, complete with 4 wheel disc brakes, rack & pinion power steering, etc. It has a stainless fuel tank. Power comes from a Ram Jet 350 crate engine paired with a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. Things that need to be done include a shifter boot fashioned in place, the headlight knob mounted, the glovebox door refinished & installed, various odds & ends. It does go down the road, SEE VIDEO. The paint was professionally done from my inspection, it will need to be clay barred, polished, sealed & waxed. There are some minor paint flaws on a quality paint job, it will clean up and present very well. The interior was nicely done with attention to detail, again needing a few finishes. Check out the Buffalo nickle "buttons" in the seat pattern... The previous owner was a well to do gentleman and invested quite a bit of time and money into this build. He even had artist renderings done (SEE PHOTOS BELOW). This is an interesting car for sure. Bid early and often, I might add a Buy it Now price at any time. Please look closely through the photos and play the video as well. The car is located near Marshall, Texas and available for inspection by appointment. You can reach myself, Sam, at 972-748-6389 with any questions. Thank you
