Description of 1956 Cadillac DeVille --

Just in! A beautiful older restoration that would be accepted at most concours events and is ready for tours. We love the white livery with the red convertible top and red leather interior. And the Saber wheels with Coker white wall radials give it a stunning look! This was said to be an Arizona car that was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction about 35 years ago. It had been fully restored mechanically and cosmetically. The buyer was a collector from... Denver, CO who enjoyed the car for the next 30 years. For much of that time the car was stored and not driven. The Cadillac was then sold to the present owner, Ron Clubine from Colorado, who is quite an expert on 1956 Cadillacs. He recommissioned the car after acquiring it, including carpets, rebuilding the convertible top mechanisms and such. He also freshened the engine detailing, which is rather stunning in its current form. The Cadillac now runs and drives beautifully and looks very nice. The paint is older, but still looks stunning. It has many areas which have touched up chips, but the paint shines and looks beautiful overall. The chrome and stainless are in overall good condition. There are no dents or dings, but a few of the pot metal parts show some pitting and a few other items could have been chromed better. The bumpers look original and are in good condition with only some surface scratching showing. The carpets are new and in excellent condition. The red leather is older and showing cracks. There are no rips or holes, just the cracking from age. The leather is very soft and supple. The instruments are gorgeous and really complete the 1950's look for the interior. The convertible top mechanisms are all newer and work well. The top itself appears to have been dyed red to match the interior. The top is in good condition with some small blemishes showing. And the parade top boot fits well to the car and gives it a custom look. The engine and transmission were rebuilt many years ago. There is a service sticker from December 21, 1994 when the Cadillac had 103,300 miles. Today, it is showing 26,900 miles, attesting to the fact that this car has been consistently used and loved through its life. Recently, the Cadillac has benefited from king pins and the rebuilding of the steering box. For more information and details call or text Harry Clark 1.602.245.7200 or email us at .
