Description of 1977 Cadillac Fleetwood |
Up for sale is my 1977 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Limousine which I recently purchased from a gentleman who drove it from San Diego, CA to his home near Buffalo, NY in December. This is a fantastic car, but my current schedule does not permit me to give this car the attention it deserves. I would like sell it for the amount I presently have invested in it to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed it in the short time I have owned it. This Cadillac runs and drives beautifully. The tires were purchased new in California in September 2019, at which time a new battery, starter, belts, and hoses were installed as well as brake work done. This was in preparation for the 3,000+ mile drive to the Buffalo, NY area. The gentleman I purchased the car from also drove it down to NC where I picked it up two months ago. The biggest negative with the limo is that it needs a new vinyl top. The California and desert heat ruined the top, causing it to break apart and moisture to be trapped underneath. Unfortunately, there is rust damage which was exposed when the owner removed most of the upper portion of the top before the long drive to NY. I have covered the rough edges where the upper section of vinyl was removed with Gaffers tape (a heavy-grade mat-finished canvas tape) which greatly improves the appearance as well as protecting the exposed edges to the weather. The original vinyl top appears to have matched the metallic blue color of the body of the car. The car was repainted, according to the gentleman I bought it from, about ten years ago. The paint is in excellent condition and closely matches the original color of the car. There is no rust damage on the lower section, bumpers, or under body of the car that I am aware of since from the title, the car was purchased in Southwest Texas, spent some time in Arizona, then ended up in San Diego. The car is fully equipped with all power options working except the radio, power antenna, cruise control, and air conditioning. The original dash pad has suffered sun damage and is now covered with a carpeted mat which I ordered to fit the car. There are a few blemishes on the velour front seat, but no tears. The original Cadillac floor mats are in the front floorboard and the carpeting is clean in spite of its age. The only carpet damage is on the section of the transmission hump in the rear compartment, and the bottom section of the driver's door panel. The armrest on the front passenger door also has some damage. The trunk is very clean with the jack intact. Please contact me through eBay with questions and I will do my best to answer them.
